“There may be times when we are powerless to prevent injustice, but there must never be a time when we fail to protest.” - Elie Wiesel

The Vancouver-based I.V.S. Institute is a research and educational concern that offers program development, program evaluation, and a variety of other research, consultation, and staff development needs to government, NGOs, and other non-profit organizations with human rights, social justice, and non-violence agendas.

So, I heard you’re looking to join our group. The more the marrier I always say! Here’s what we’ve got so far. It was done in a single hour, so any imput you’d like to add is appreciated. I’m thinking that you might be able to address some meta issues, if you don’t have any ideas about content. So, what I mean by that is things like creating more effective headers (mine are kind of bland, as is the title), possibly more effective pics or diagrams, and possibly some ideas on how we should weave this whole thing together into a concise presentation, such as transitions, slide order, speaker chronology, anything to make things go smoother. We’re aiming to be able to not read off of the slides in order to deliver a simpler, more wholisitc idea. Anyway, we’re meeting tomorrow an hour before class. I’d suggest you come, if you can, so that you can get caught up, and so that we can impliment any last minute changes that may arise.

Cheers, Jamie
